First-rate acrylic paints and 3D effect media complemented by high-quality canvas frames and special paper pads as well as practical painting accessories for creative working on an artistic level.

Marabu Fashion Design – fun with colour spray on textiles! Marabu Fashion Spray, Fashion Liner and the Silhouette stencils allow everyone to apply their favourite style to T-shirts, bags, cushions and curtains.

2013

Marabu Creative Colours is FSCTM-certified (FSC-C118917). The guidelines for FSCTM certification are globally binding. Only wood from well-managed forests or environmentally appropriate forest management is used.

2012

Development of non-oven curing ceramic and glass paints. Marabu Glas Painter and Porcelain Painter Sets are awarded "Product of the Year".

2009

Marabu celebrates ist 150th anniversary.

the successful Marabu Painter range is brought onto the market and catches on in a flash throughout Europe.

Building of the new creative colours factory in Bietigheim-Bissingen following the newest enviromental, technical and employee-friendly standards.

1999

A boom year for window colour: Marabu fun & fancy Window Color is the most successful product in the history of creative colours and dominates the market for many years.

1995/2014

Marabu is accredited ISO 9001 in 1995 and ISO 14001 in 2003. Marabu has undertaken a Responsible Care Initiative since 1998 and in 2011 and 2014 received the SGIA sustainability award.

1980

Introduction of Do-it: Marabu Color spray for spraying on paper, wood, canvas, polystyrene, glass, stone, metal, clay, wickerwork and dry natural materials.

1971

The first steps into the hobby and leisure sector, which will be of long-term significance for the business. One of the first products is the fabric painting and printing colour "Hobbytex".
